Natural remedies

Post by Ice.Maiden »

For gout, fybromyalgia, arthritis, rheumatic conditions and muscular pains, try one of these:

Nettles: 2-3 dried leaves infused in a litre of water. Drink 3 cups a day before meals.

Limes: Drink 2 cups of water containing freshly-squeezed lime a day.

Strawberries: Infuse the roots and leaves of a strawberry plant, and drink 2 cups a day.

It's not all of them hun - you can take your pick of the remedies - but yes, it's the roots and leaves of the strawberry plant that're supposed to work. Suppose you have to drink the concoctions daily for several weeks before you start to see any benefit, but it's harmless and might be worth a go.

I love to read about all these different natural "remedies", but then usually forget all about them the next day!

LOL - possibly. I'll remember about things later, but always seem too busy to stick with one thing in particular. Mind you, I do have some things regularly - Manuka honey, watercress, turmeric, Acai berries, cinnamon, beetroot ....

i'm pretty sure ebay would be helpful, i'd take the one in the middle, unless icy is partial to that.

here we go:

pretty reasonable, too.

Seriously - a black velvet one. I also had a crimson one which graduated into dark purple at the bottom, but someone bought it off me.

Well I somehow missed opening your link until just now. Lovely cloaks, and even better because of the coloured linings.

I had my first one when I was about 15. Someone made it for me, but I don't know what happened to it. Then I wanted one for a particular do I was going to, but all I could get was a long black opera coat (a cloak, but without the hood). I love them. They're warm, and sort of look mysterious!

Furry? Never seen one hun.

All we seem to get over here's either velvet, thick cotton-type material or a sort of wool blend such as winter coats might be made out of.

Doesn't matter to me which it is. I like the style.
