Spring Cleaning of Styles

Post by forumadmin »

All our styles have been reviewed and updated to the latest versions where possible. A couple favored styles from the previous generation are still with us until I can find suitable replacements. Some styles were deleted and some added. I think those of us with old eyes and who have trouble seeing the text in our forums might appreciate the newly added Visio style. It's not pretty, but it is effective.

We also have a style suited for viewing us on your mobile device: Artodia Mobile and SEO.
I don't have a mobile device on which to test this style so that I can't say how well it works. But, it does look good on my last century's desktop computer.

More changes in style may be forthcoming, but for now the list to choose from seems adequate.

I tried the VISEO (?) and it just about blew me off my chair!

I liked the viola, but it has no option to mark posts read.

so now i'm using the red milky way while trying to figure out how milky way ever got red...

oh well, I like it.

The violet theme is one of the old ones I need to drop. If you are done with it I will take it down and try to find a suitable replacement.

This is more like fall cleaning given the timing of these additions

Two new styles have been added to our collection. One is called Cynthia and the other is Graand (Red) which replaced Milky Way Red. Note that Graand may not have all the features available in other styles, but it is a grand layout and easy to read. As always, if there are any problems, let me know.

When I tried to re-set mine to see what the new ones looked like, it wouldn't work. It went back to Absolution each time I clicked the re-set button, but tbh, I don't mind, because I like the one I've got.

the Only teensy change i'd like is to make the read/unread markers more defined in those forums that have subforums on the same mine.

you know? the thin lines on the blue and red squares mean I have to find my glasses.

I have to agree with you about the subforums. Which forum the new post flags apply to are not bold and obvious from the main page. However, if you click on he main forum title. it will expand and show you all the subforums which are clearly marked. It's an extra step, but it saves you from needing to find your glasses.
