Same in my part of the world. The raspberries were weak and only lasted for a very short time before they dried up. Some never matured at all.
My plum tree was pretty laden, but again, some of the fruit didn't ripen properly, and a number of plums didn't soften, whilst others dropped before time.
We put this down to having a lot of dry weather early on in the year, but apples were also slow to arrive, and my little magnolia tree shed its leaves weeks ago - only to sprout again recently (heck - they should be going now that it's autumn!).

Well, live and learn! I am about to try and use my new found skills and put some pics up!

This is what I constructed last winter. Now to show you what grew in it.

And this is how I start my garlicke

For some reason or other I have ended up with pics somewhat smaller than intended. Any advise as to post them somewhat larger would be appreciated.
Aha figured out a way to do it!!

Good job, Bill! Those vegetables look scrumptious!

The image size is perfect! Anything larger would be too hard to see at one glance.

I see you and your newly found talents are coming along quite well!

Thank you. Now that I have figured out a way, I shall have to pay more attn to the size prior to uploading them. There is a means to delete the ones I already have there but I have not as yet examined that issue.

Aye lass, my cup floweth over as many recipients can testify. It is part of my makeup "There is more joy in giving than receiving". When you have all that you require, what point is there in accumulating more?
I have but scratched the surface as to the potential which exists here, and the moment a Farmers Market is established, shall seek to increase production for barter or exchange.

If the 'hoi peloi' turn up, they of course will be led by the nose and pay accordingly!! ;)
