This horrible article brings it home to you just how much damage GM crops can do, and if it does it to piglets .....

Exactly, and if folk think I'm going to be persuaded to eat GM foodstuff, they can think again. Luckily, the British public aren't taking to the idea, so crops've been abandoned for the time being, but you can still find it in the cheaper supermarket own brands. Yuck.

I read somewhere that the majority of soya beans imported from the US are genetically modified.

You're right, they are. A very high percentage of beans from the US are GM ones.

Seem to be, yes.

I'll stick with fresh, free range and organic. Once you start buying it regularly, you don't notice any price differences, but you DO know that what you're eating's healthier and hopefully less poisonous. The US should follow France's lead in people over profits.
