LOL - no, but you'd expect the female to welcome several suitors, not try and eat them, because the more who mate with her, the more her genes're going to be passed on, so .... it looks like a no win-no win situation. : (
No, it's not a nice vid, especially as the male takes some time to die. Being eaten alive isn't very thrilling is it, but since nature makes it happen sometimes, I wonder if the males produce an anaesthetising hormone or something after mating? Otherwise, I can't see why this painful process takes place.
