Underwired bras

Post by Ice.Maiden »

Well - for those of you who've ever worn an underwired bra - you must've had wires that pop out through the material now and again? You kow the sort of pesky things...

Can be very uncomfortable when this happens - so what do you do?

A) Throw the bra away
B) Pull the wires out altogether, and hope for an "uplifting moment"
C) Try to push it back down, only for it to resurface later
D) Not notice as it sticks through your jumper
E) Bend it round and pretend it's a brooch
F) Grasp it meaningfully and say: "Come in No. 1 - receiving you loud and clear!"

Mwhahaha!!! Horrible aren't they!

Don't know how you manage to the stitch the damn things to make them stay put, Vikki. Mind you, I'm not very good at sewing, so I just pretend I'm on a covert mission! :dancer2:

I'm not too keen myself pink, but they give a better shape under clothes. Just a bit of a nuisance after a few washes when they decide to produce an areial! :dancer2:

Oops! Just noticed the previous typo - it wasn't me sir, it was this rotten keyboard!

Anyway - Vikki that's the truth! One once shot out of mine, and I didn't realise. Looked down when some crumbs fell from a biscuit I was eating, and this damned thing wasn't far short of heading up my nostril! :lmao4:

I should have but he told me that I should buy a bra washer.... one of those things you put your bra in before putting in the machine - told him wasn't practical as you wouldnt usually wash only 1 bra.

To be honest I usually handwash my bras so it's not a major problem and they aren't always under wired.

:vrysad: Never heard of a bra washer!!!!

I hand wash my best ones, but sling the others in as and when. Don't suppose it helps the wired ones too much, but then - water's water. Doesn't seem to ruin them unduly.

Wooooo!!!! I'd honestly never seen or heard of one before. Don't think I'll bother though. Too much flaffing about.

Well um....maybe..but I've never honestly had a bra disintegrate through being washed, and it's not often those damned wires pop out.
