Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
Hi Icey My original home of St. Louis, Missouri, is considered the Gateway to the West, and being west of the Mississippi River was a part of the mid-west region. It was in the Central Time Zone. To the right of the Mississippi River lies one-third of our nation, two-thirds lies to the left. The sta...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
Honestly, my parents were GREAT, wouldn't trade either of them for the world. Have no complaints about my childhood either, and it was better in many ways than most kids, even those of my era enjoyed. An experience of a lifetime was at my fingertips every single day, things to explore, areas to visi...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
Don't like to speak ill of my mother, but she could be sarcastic without even opening her mouth and saying something. She had sarcasm so down pat, mere body gestures or eye movements were clearly understood.

I'm good at sarcasm, picked it up from my mother who used it fluently.

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
Regardless of what situations you are faced with, always treat the other person the way you would want to be treated if the tables were turned 180 degrees. In other words, put yourself in the other persons shoes, and know how frustrating their limitations can be. Then go about making things more acc...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
Well I can't help it because they up and croak on me before I get them well trained, hi hi... My wife has told me many times after we got home from a gathering, many comments made to her, outside of their own hubby's earshot. Wish my man was half as thoughtful, generous, or kind, as yours. She will ...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
I think therefore I am!
I open and hold doors for others.
I never change lanes or turn without signaling my intent far in advance.
I make sure everyone is taken care of before I take care of myself.
Etc.

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
When I was younger maybe. Since my heart attack, I'm usually more frustrated at the things I need to do, know how to do, and just can't anymore. It's hard to find someone to handle a few piddle things for me, because doing so doesn't earn them enough money to make it worth their while. Or they charg...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
I can honestly say, it comes from being POOR... And needing things you can't afford to get a job done. You can laugh, but many of the products I made and sold from our workshops were made before I had the proper tools to do same. I used the product as the reason we needed the tool to become more eff...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
For every single thing I know how to do, and do well, there are probably a hundred or a thousand things I have no idea how or what to do, and if I tried, it would be a disaster. Each of us have skills and special talents we can do better than others, and some we really shine when doing, even to the ...

I hear ya Icey.
If I don't do something every day, or at least once a week, I don't remember how by months end.
Drives me nuts too!

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
Something I couldn't do on my old flip-phone was plug it into my computer to get the pictures off. If I wanted the photos I took from it, I had to sign up for something on their plan and upload them to their servers in order to download them down to my computer. So I never used my phones camera. My ...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
I think now I've seen everything. A sewer line worker unrolled a rubber keyboard on the hood of his truck and plugged it into his cell phone. I could see him typing away from my window. I started to walk down there, but he finished, stuck the cell phone in his pocket and rolled the keyboard back up ...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
We bought a netbook with Windows 7 on it. It sits in a case in the corner unused. The first time I tried installing Linux on it, I didn't have a driver for the WiFi. So it sat in the corner again. After the lighting storm that took out all of our computers, I loaded XP-Home on the netbook, at least ...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
Where my wife worked before she retired, all the machines on the main floor were upgraded from XP to Windows 7. But to those using the machines, they looked no different than before. Because the companies UNIX servers displayed the same log-in screen to the workstations just as it always has. All th...

Re: [split] Should bras be a no-no?
When computers first came out, I took to them like a duck to water, and made them an integral part of my life. As primitive as they were, they cut many hours of tedious tasks I did by hand. They were simple enough, using the minimal Basic programming language, I wrote the programs I needed to handle...
