I've always liked Stephen, not least because of his ability to give wonderful after-dinner speeches that don't bore the pants off everyone, his intelligence and his quick and articulate brain, but reading that he's planning to marry his latest boyfriend, Spencer Elliott, made me wonder if the man's doing the right thing?
Stephen's 57, and Spencer's 27. Age differences don't always matter, but Stephen openly admits that he's been depressive, and that bouts of loneliness drove him to the point of suicide.
If the couple split up, I can't imagine what it might do him.
Do you think that a 30 year age difference can work?
