Oh, I thought it was a standard practice, sorry.
No, it's not a nice vid, especially as the male takes some time to die. Being eaten alive isn't very thrilling is it, but since nature makes it happen sometimes, I wonder if the males produce an anaesthetising hormone or something after mating? Otherwise, I can't see why this painful process takes place.
