You're not getting what I mean.

You said that if you cook someone a nice meal, you're guaranteed .... desserts!

I say that if you care for someone, you'd get that anyway, without going through the motions of the foodie stuff.

Food's there to be eaten and enjoyed when you're hungry. If i knew beforehand that someone had something extra on their mind, I'd be offended. It's like you're being bought.

Don't mean to be. Just been telling Tony about using apostrophes. He asked if I speak like that as well - as in "that'd", instead of saying "that would". Blame him for any serious-sounding stuff. : )

I'm not miserable at all. Had an eventful day, even though the week's going to be a busy one. I'm meeting Vikki's daughter for a short time on Thursday, but I've got so many other things to do in the run-up to Christmas.
