LOL! We sometimes used to let the boys sit in one when they were toddlers. It kept them out of mischief while we were shopping, but I've never been in one myself.

Oh dear. It's just laziness really. They can't be bothered to get one of the child-friendly trolleys and strap them in. Maybe that was my excuse as well, but we only did it a couple of times. :P

Really? I think all our major supermarkets have trolleys where a child can sit in it, facing the parent.
