well, trouble is there aren't really any persecutions going on in Norway (not for natives anyway).... I'm pretty much as free and liberated as they come... religion then?

Pinky smiles back , best way come over and marry an Irishman then get your citizenship and a divorce, hey presto!!! You could come here easily enough though if Norway joins the EU!!!1

and get dragged into that economic crisis which comes of forcing rich and poor countries to have the same coin with the same value? HA! Thank you very much, but we like the money that comes with tourism to go into our pockets, not into paying the debt of some other country. Besides, EEA means I can go work wherever within EU anyway.

That's true - but is Eire now part of the EU? I know three years ago it was voted against, and I haven't kept up to date on what happened. I suppose it must be, with you using euros?

we have been part of the EU since 1973 same as UK. It was a treaty we recently voted no for but doesnt affect our EU status
