Charlestown in 10 miles northeast of where I live. The land was previously help by an Army Ammo Plant, which closed due to the COld War ending. The place is the third largest state park in Indiana, and they are planning on sprucing it up quite nicely. The trail I walked down to the creek on used to be the road to an old Amusement Park that was washed away in the infamous 1937 flood. It was really steep; it took me an hour to go down and come back up; I'd hate to do any of the really rugged places along there. I kept thinking what would happen if I had a heart attack all the way back up.

I left it at home. I've had difficulties finding a new belt, and I didn't want to keep pulling up my shorts all the way. I left everything but my camera, so I had no I.D. However, my Mom was waiting for me, and knew where I went, so she could get help, but only after hours past since I should have been back.

A few select photos (way too big o post here, so I'll provide links):

Just in case you are interersted, Brainformation's Upload and Resizing Tool is here: http://bf.gaff.cc/
It resizes the pictures automatically to fit our forums, and it stores the pictures for you as well.

That creek bank is a popular fishign spot. If you can handle the hil, you'd probably do great with fish.

I heard someone jet skiing up the creek. Personally, that seems dangerous; who knows what snags will be there.
