even more irritating, I have 2 sets of pills identical but for minute markings. when you split them in half, there goes your ID. then you add the ¼ which looks very close to the halves - and it's surprising i'm still around... :bleh:

Oh dear!! I've never really given it a thought, but I can see how easily that might happen.

Usually though, tablets DO vary in their make-up, however small. Besides the different colours, if you have a plethora of plain white ones which all look around the same size, they're differentiated by their thickness, coating shine (or minus any) and what might be stamped on the side which doesn't have the line across it. So I'm told.

indeed, but when talking those damn tiny ones, the differences, especially after drawn and quartered tend to diminish even more.

in Canada the latter was a bright blue at least...

would it be too bloody difficult to toss in some veg die? even if just turn them off white? my sister has a myriad of meds in shapes like hearts, or pinks, yellows, blues.

what is the problem here I wonder?

that would be Alt 148, however, you usually don't need the umlauts. but never mind:

http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/Sjogrens-syndrome/Pages/Introduction.aspx

I looked into that because of my dry eyes, but the doc just shrugged it off, like everything else.... it's confusing to some people because the dryness is not lack of liquid, often the opposite, but lack of lubrication.

that was a while ago. maybe i'll bring it up again...?

Eek! Thanks for the link, but that Sjogrens syndrome sounds as though it can be very nasty!

    did.

well, for starters, it's not pronounced show-grin. sheesh!

    arthritis. check.

    dry mouth. check.

    dry, irritated eyes. check.

yet it could be just my drug cocktails doing it. or my age.

I was wondering about BOTH our eyes - yours and mine. If you read further down, under "complications" .... it doesn't get too healthy .....

"Sjögren's syndrome also increases your risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which is a cancer of the lymph glands. However, the chances are still low, at around 5%.

Women with Sjögren's syndrome have an increased risk of having children with a temporary "lupus" rash or heart abnormalities. "

: ( My eyes still aren't back to normal yet, so ... I'd better stop reading about these things, or I WILL turn into a hypochondriac.
