No, she's wrong. Didn't you see a post about eating late which I put up recently? Scientists and doctors're now saying that it doesn't matter what you eat and at what time. The point is, that you don't exceed your daily calorie level, and it's been found that people actually lose weight while they sleep.

Mind you, what they say today, get's contradicted tomorrow.

I could almost be an expert on nutrition. A few years ago, I was given steroids to keep my appetite up. Unfortunately, they also make you gain a LOT of weight. Well, in my case they did, and nothing seemed to work when I tried to get it off again. It's almost gone now, but it's taken like 3 years to do it, during which time I had every diet known to man, and learnt a great deal about what food's good for the body and what's not.

Having said that, I take very little notice of fad diets, such as those suggested by celebrities. It's just a money-making thing, and very rarely are any of these people what you'd call "fat" to begin with. If they are, they usually cheat and have gastric bands or use other methods to lose weight, because they need to lose the pounds quickly.

Good eating's just common sense really, and being strict enough with yourself to stick with it. We're not all meant to be pencil-thin, but there's a difference between being a little bit chubby and downright obese. You don't even need regular gym work-outs either. If a person eats sensibly and doesn't become a couch potato, then their weight should stay static with good diet and average exercise.

LOL!! :lmao4:

It really won't hurt you, T. If you did this with every meal every day, then yes, but you don't, and you also get exercise.
