Mt. Rainier

Postby StVandal » 06 Oct 2013, 18:18

I was heading to work on the bus a few days ago and couldn't resist taking a picture of Mt. Rainier in the sunset!

Hey! It's Mount Rain-yay!

Beautiful. Haven't seen it in years.

Do you live near Seattle?

Yeah, I live in Seattle. I've been wanting to get a shot of the sunset over the Olympics, but I haven't been out to the beach in quite a while. It's pretty amazing!

That's a really good photo. It'd look good hung on a wall or copied in oils. I think you're missing your vocation George. You take some lovely pics.

Very nice!

Whereabouts do you live in the city? Greenwood? Queen Anne? Alki Point? Ballard? Green Lake? Downtown?

I envy you. Seattle is the most beautiful city I've ever visited.

Oh, that second photo isn't mine (the one with the tree). It's just where I want to get my next sunset picture (Golden Gardens). I found it online..

I live in North Seattle, though I work downtown (the Denny Triangle area) and in Greenwood!

Still lovely, whoever took it, but you have a knack for being able to spot what makes an interesting pic.
