Backlog of photos (mostly of the pub)

Postby StVandal » 22 May 2008, 19:02

I've finally got a place to put all the photos I had been storing in the time I was without a computer (a couple months worth)! Here's some of the photos I've been taking. Most of it's pretty random..

Here's my newest tattoo, the day after it was done:

The other bartender surprised me with a camera at work..

This is why I always tip (this is from the coffee shop by my work):

I wonder why our Camel rep never comes by the bar? Maybe because we draw on everything they give us?
[ img ]

Our ceiling is cluttered with all kinds of neat stuff:

A very old comic book poster on the ceiling. I have no idea where this came from..

Here's the main part of the bar, just before I opened.

Welcome the the men's room, or as I call it; purgatory.

I'm gunna repaint it soon :P :

I thought I'd end on a pretty picture.. this is just a block away from the pub.

i like your new tattoo, but i've forgotten the story behind it. would you mind?

interesting bar decor and fairly good sized place. does it get busy on a regular basis?

about that harware.... don't you ever get worried about getting bopped in the face? a good shot could seriously rearrange your features.

eeeep.

Hey! You forgot "head cheese" on the camel!

Looks like a very comfortable bar, the kind my husband likes to hang out in...pool tables and cold beer!

And those rings do look dangerous. I know people who would love them!

The rat's a symbol, yes. The rat represents the lower class, who will do whatever it is they have to do to survive. The wings and the halo mean the rat hasn't put aside its morals or integrity in order to do so.
There's the added bonus that I think it looks really cool. haha.. I should take a couple pictures of it now that it's all healed.
Now I'm having real trouble deciding on what to put on the other side of my forearm. I don't need anything symbolic, just some cool looking filler material would suffice.

I'm probably going to put my favorite cartoon characters, Drinky Crow and Uncle Gabby on there somewhere. The problem is that tattoos are really addicting. I want to get another right away, and I keep thinking up a bunch of ideas, though none of them are really good. :P

I was under the gun for a little more than 5 hours. I can sort of control my adrenaline so that it's not all expelled at once, but after about 4 hours I was completely out. The last hour was a little rough, but not bad. More annoying than anything.

I love my pub. I joke around about the fact that I hung out there so much that they finally put me to work. Actually, there's more truth in that joke than I'd like to admit.

Yeah, I drew out the rat, and the tattooist redrew it and I liked his better.
It'd be fun if you could come over for a few pints. It's a bit of a walk though. ;)

If I start walking now I reckon I could get there in about 3 years :dancer2:

I have been 'in training' for a charity fun run (for cancer relief), and have had a bottle of lambrini positioned at the end of my treadmill as an incentive :P

Its called the 'Race for Life' theres a crowd of us participating, we will just walk it though!
