Apt! Yes, it's windy here as well. Mind you, it's been like it for a few days, but it's died down a lot from the first gales. We've got fences down again and all sorts.

Oh - sorry. Yes, the bloody things drop like flies when the winds're strong, but we're using tougher measures if this sort of weather's going to keep up.

True. Luckily there are stone walls and craggs in the more exposed areas, but we have some fencing in a particular area of the garden which never seem to stay up during high winds, and we've tried all sorts. Short of metal posts and rails, which'd cost way too much, there's not a lot we can do, but we might take them down altogether. It becomes costly whatever type you use, so we might cordon off pathways and whatever by planting robust hedges.

They fix fences? I know that a lot of them are cutting back on things like that now.
