You're right there, except that all bodies need a certain amount of fat, but it's the type which matters. When dripping was home-made, there was nothing horrible in it, or the meat it came from. Today, the animals're fed on disgusting muck, and injected with antibiotics which pass through into the meat/milk. Having said that, if you buy totally organically-reared animal meat, then what comes out of it's the same as the stuff from years ago.

People're being herded (no pun intended) into believing that no fat's good for you, you have to have your "5 a day", and that you'll be healthier if you take vitamin and mineral supplements. Rubbish! If a person eats a varied diet, they get everything that they need. A couple of dripping sandwiches aren't going to hurt you, but it's exercising it off which's important.
