My gran used to say that the first one hung down to hold the others up! :???: True really, isn't it? :lol:

Are you being serious? If you are, then yes, in many of the country places. Up here we get fresh fish vans as well, but the smaller shops have to compete with supermarket deliveries, so not only can you get meat delivered, but fresh farm produce as well.

I make it! I freeze the dripping from beef and use it in gravies. I like a bit on toast as well!

It is if it's home-made. You can buy tubs of it in supermarkets, but they add all sorts of rubbish to it.

it was good for people Post war as it has a lot of fat in it for hard working people, today it would be very unhealthy as people do less physical work..
