Aww, no! :o

She's almost out of the habit now. When we first got her, she was grumpy, and'd nip sometimes, but it might've been because of people trying to feed her all sorts. She'd get a tap on the nose. :|

Donkey and horse poo makes great manure, but it has to be left for a while before being used.

All sorts of reasons Tomsk. Horse poo, for instance, can't - or shouldn't - be put straight down onto plants, as it can burn them. Droppings can also contain several types of parasitic worms, so shouldn't be used on grass where horses're going to be kept, in case of re-infection. This type of stuff's good as a fertilizer once it's bedded down (composted) and left for a good while.

Some gardeners swear that it's great for growing roses, but if so, it needs watering down. You've also got to look at where the stuff's spread. You get all sorts of seeds mixed in with it, which can grow around the soil where it's used, strangling the plants you want to encourage. I'm not sure of how much of this's right, but it's what I've been told anyway.

Poo - what a subject! I'm away to bed now because it'll soon be getting light. Night all!
