Same here. I love all types of foxes, but particularly the snow/Arctic ones.

saw a lot of the red ones in toronto of all places. but then again, also coyotes, skunks, racoons, deer etc.

Aww, I've only ever seen some of those in wildlife parks. Much better to see them in their natural habitat.

We get quite a few red foxes round our way, as well as deer, but I've NEVER seen a live Arctic fox anywhere. So beautiful.

    I can understand the allure of wearing such beautiful fur, but wouldn't do it.

    This's one of those subjects which I can see both sides to.

    Fur looks best on the animal it came from. There's no need to kill for fashion these days, and I hate the thought of it, BUT - indigenous people use the skins (and everything else) from animals in their areas, and tbh, I have no qualms with that. They don't do it out of cruelty, but necessity and as a way of life.

    No man-made fur can emulate the beauty of the real stuff, which's also warmer and looks better, but to wear it to show off's a sick idea. It's bad enough killing animals which're going to be extinct soon, but even fur from rabbits seems cruel to me, if they're bred simply for that purpose.
