If anyone likes Trance music like myself, here is a fine classic example of a fantastic tune. The rhythmic beat is absolutely superb!!
It's called Adagio for Strings [Ferry Corsten Remix - William Orbit]
So, get you headphones on like I do,and simply enjoy what you are about to hear.
The video that comes with it, is best played in a darkened room.
Enjoy........I always do!!

Well, while I'm waiting for Google to load (it's mega-slow tonight, for some reason), I think you're right, knobby. While the video (on VHS) was compiled in 1991, I think the video segments were recorded in '68.

OK, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_at_Pompeii:

Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii is a 1972 film featuring Pink Floyd performing six songs in the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy. It was directed by Adrian Maben and recorded in the month of October with 24 tracks studio quality without a live audience.[1]

The performances of "Echoes," "A Saucerful of Secrets," and "One of These Days" were filmed from October 4, 1971 to October 7, 1971.[2] The remaining songs were filmed in a Paris studio, along with additional front projection footage for insertion into the Pompeii performances.[3] The sequences in Paris were filmed in late 1971/early 1972, and can be distinguished by the absence of Richard Wright's beard. This version was released in cinemas in September 1972 and is also included on the DVD edition as an extra feature.

I also have this video, which I ripped directly off the DVD which a friend of mine here has.

I do have a Pink Floyd video, "London 1966-1967," most certainly with Sid Barrett. Talk about some old Floyd! A lot of the old clothes and hair styles and a lot of old-style movements and attitudes. Remember the "Mod" movement?

On to business. One of my favorite single videos is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tB8EUs5NFLM I really seriously like the song.

If you want to talk full length videos, there are several. I like "The Wall" (naturally!); I like "Live At Pompeii"; I like "Kilroy Was Here" (old Styx video); I even like "Cereal Killer" by Green Jello (now named Green Jelly because of lawsuits over copyright infringement).

Now that I think of it, I'm wondering if "Kilroy Was Here" is on YouTube? I'm going to have to check.

Yep, I posted a link to that song in another thread. I'm a major Floyd fan, and started listening to them before "Dark Side of the Moon" came out. Ummagumma was the first of their albums that I bought (even before "Meddle" (= Echoes...the video is what they cut that was used for the 'Live At Pompeii" VHS and DVD) and "Obscured By Clouds" came out), and have listened to (and own most) every album they ever put out, from "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" to "Division Bell."

The only major regret I had is that I never caught one of their concerts. All my friends did, but not me.
