RIP Anne Kirkbride

Post by Ice.Maiden »

For fans of Coronation Street, "Deirdre's" going to be sorely missed after so many years in the show.

My kid Sister used to take the micky out of my eldest Sister as , in the 70's my eldest Sister had a curly perm and big glasses like Deidre.
And my kid Sister used to say 'Hey Tracey, were's our Ken there's trouble at mill' causing me to roll about in laughter and piss my elder Sister off...

God bless Anne.

Course it was. Me and mine used to wind each other up and play jokes on each other - when the parents weren't around. : )

It might've been better if WE were allowed to, but we weren't. Right from being little, if one of us started on another, we were separated, and told that there are better ways of settling differences than shouting and arguing.

Phfrrrt! I felt like bashing one of my sister's sometimes! LOL.

So was ours! I alternate between enjoying having company around me and then needing my own space.

I like to be in good company, with interesting, amusing and chatty people, but I have to be in the mood.

LOL - but it depends on the content of the conversations. I'm not into discussing the latest soaps, as if the situations're real. I'm interested in people and what they have to say for themselves.

Quite. Now if someone's talking about a good book, a piece of music or telling me something that I didn't know - fine.
