the maltese falcon

Postby pilvikki » 25 Nov 2012, 16:58

unlike Casablanca, i thought the falcon was utter rubbish: boring, tedious, pointless...

Oh blimey ... that was the Knights Templars thing wasn't it? I've seen it, but it's an oldie like Casablanca. The latter was actually a good film.

OK, the African Queen one rings a bell, but maybe I've just heard others talk about it! You know I don't watch too many movies. I've seen more since I've been to the cinema with the children. Got loads and loads of DVDs which the majority I haven't watched. I don't see many on TV - apart from the obligatory religious epics that come out at Christmas, so ....... how am I supposed to know all these obscure things you keep finding?

My heart's warm enough. Any warmer and I'd melt. Think I'd rather watch Brad.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king's horses and all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
