Prison Sex

Postby Yogi » 07 Aug 2013, 11:43

I've posted a story elsewhere about a New Zeland teacher who raped a 14 year old student and bared his child. Under New Zealand law, females cannot be charged with rape because their male victims are presumed to enjoy the act. Here in the United States, apparently, its overlooked when prison guards rape the under aged inmates in their charge because they are after all in prison. Most, if not all, states have laws explicitly stating that nobody under the age of 17 can consent to having sex. Few prison rapes ever get reported and even fewer perpetrators are convicted or given hard time to serve. Yes, they are hardened souls in those prison cells, but they are human beings who suffer mental anguish from abuse just like anyone else.

It's terrible. The guards are supposedly in a position of trust, and whether it's a male or female adult who abuses an under-age person, it's still abuse, and, technically it's paedophilia.

In the UK recently, a barrister's been in trouble for saying that a young 13 year old girl who was raped, was "predatory".

Sadly, many young girls try to look older than they are. Some girls are sexually active at a very young age, but they're still children in the eyes of the law, and in truth, far from mature. An adult shouldn't take advantage of a girl who might appear to be promiscuous, let alone one who isn't, and it's even sicker when young people are locked up and probably turn to their warders for affection. The guards should be able to exercise self control and not over-step the mark, but what surprises me most, is how MANY victims of prison abuse there are. : (
