I give up! I can't do it!

I need a video showing how to fasten a bra when it's on you. You know ... like when you've got it almost practically on yet it needs to be fastened?

No x-rated videos, please! :(

Why in the world would anyone NEED a video of that sort??

That said, why not just get this person a bra that fastens in front - problem solved.

Put the bra band on backwards and fasten it in front. Then turn it around and slip into the cups and shoulder straps. I do it that way all the time.

LOL!!!

Yes, good idea about a front-fastening bra, because if one doesn't "catch" when fastened at the back, then it's probably too small.

:bleh:

That's why I posted my plea ... all my bra-wearing life, I've put the fasteners in front, fastened them, twisted the bra around 'til the cups were in the front, and so on. I don't know how the women who don their bras "properly" do it!

That's why I want a video of a woman showing how it's done!

Oh Pet, bless you! You just put your arms through the straps, adjust the front bits - and reach round the back to hook it together. Done.

Yeah, easy for you to say! Those hooks and eyelets bury themselves into the fabric whenever I come near them! I might as well be blindfolded and throwing horseshoes!

Oh Yogi, you beat me to it! :lmao4:

Pet, there're not too many who can reach around back to do that...I know I can't!

The only other way I know about is to get someone to help you, but I understand that might be out of the question. :P

I absolutely don't understand it...all they have to do is make them so that they fasten in front; "in-between," so to speak. What's so hard about that concept I just can't understand. It'd be easier all-around.

But what do I know? :|

Did you know Glenn, that women can reach round their backs easier than men? It's true, for some obscure reason.

Pet - I know what you mean. Those hooks can sometimes be very close together, but if so, tweeze them apart slightly, and then you should have no problem.

Get a nail file, tweezers, scissors or knife, and prize the hook upwards, away from the base of the material, to open up the space slightly. The hooks'll then slide in easier.

Toonie, what you really need is a 'helper' - he should be tall, fit and known for his flexibility............

This is the best advice by far!

<goes looking for a tall, fit, flexible, gay guy. Hubby wouldn't approve, otherwise!>

Awww, bless.

Glenn - there's no way on earth you're like the guy above (the larger one, I mean!).

Oh bless. Well I personally think that very skinny men can look as bad as very fat guys. Someone in between, even with a bit of chub's, fine.

Then again, all the above was slightly in jest. Aethetics don't bother me unduly. I prefer someone who's intelligent, funny and with a good nature. One of our friends is quite a tall, large man, and he's lovely.
