UBUNTU and EFI

Postby Yogi » 08 Apr 2013, 09:13

This topic has been touched upon elsewhere in this forum, but now all the speculation can be put to rest. Ubuntu 12.04.2 and higher is capable of running in EFI mode. As the following link shows, it could be a bit of a hassle installing it (to put it mildly), but the Ubuntu community has figured it out. It's just a matter of time for the other distro's of Linux to come on board. Apparently BIOS is being replaced, like it or not.
