Salt & Pepper.

Postby MWB » 22 Apr 2010, 17:31

In the winter here, the salt & pepper, more the salt, get damp & won't pour. I've used the ole rice in the shaker trick, but that never really worked.

A friend told me to keep them in the fridge & it won't happen.

Claire - add a pinch of cornflour to the salt. It stops it from clogging up. Also, try to keep it in an airtight container, such as Tupperware, and away from steaming kettles and so on.
