PRINTING ENVELOPES

Postby Toula » 13 Mar 2010, 22:18

When printing envelopes with an inkjet printer, spray the address with a clear hairspray. This may sound like a barmy idea, but inks used by most inkjet printers are water-soluble. If the postman gets caught in the rain while holding your letter, the ink may run, causing the address to become illegible. However, a quick squirt of hair lacquer will fix the ink and prevent it getting washed off.

Since I normally don't have hair spray handy, I simply put clear tape over the the addresses.
