remove Ink stains

how do you get ink stains of fabrics as in the felt tip type of pen

If it's still wet dab it dry and then rub with milk and wash in usual way. If it's really thick/heavy I've soaked in milk over night ot use one of those felt tip removers.

If it's pretty fresh ie today or yesterday the milk should work

no its not fresh unfortunatly OH has ink all over cushion covers bloody messy men

I don't know then but it might still work or I'd try one ink devil stain removers

My hubby has just said meths will take out felt tip pens - he's used it on car seats before now

(he's never told me that before :x )

Yes, milk or lemon juice often brings felt tip pen marks out of material. Use a soft toothbrush to rub round the stains, and then blot dry. Do a pre-wash, and use biological liquid or powder. This brings stains out of my sons shirts, but if it's ground in and old, then maybe a Devil Stain'd work.

if it didn't work; mix cold water and tartaric acid. Or if it is normal pens with normal ink, make it wet with cold water and put salt on it.
