While I'm not particularly afraid of heights, that doesn't mean I'm just going to jump off of a perfectly good and stable building.

To each his own, I suppose, but for the sake of being politic, I'll withhold my opinion as to his level of sanity.

Well I suffer from vertigo, and anything like that gives me the shudders. Pasta maybe saw a pic of a woman base jumping in our papers yesterday. Seems she felt "somewhat apprehensive" about making her first plunge. She's only been doing it for a short while, and she's in her 40's - so good for her, but...I don't want to follow suit!
Oddly enough, I'd parachute - but couldn't leap out of a balloon or anything static. I couldn't bungee jump or anythiong so horrible. The thought.......

Oooh dear...don't think I could do any of it now! That looks a long way to drop!!

my ex went skydiving once.... sprained everything he owned, most notably his ankle and hobbled around on crutches for a couple of weeks. said it was "just great" but didn't go back for seconds.

Most folk who leap out of planes, etc., say it's exhillarating and want to go back and have another go, but no - if you get injured, I expect it WOULD put you off a bit! I've decided that the human being belongs on terra firma!

That looks so cool I'd love to do it - what's the worst that could happen????? I want white lilac by the way stands for youthful innocence...

I'm abit of an adrenalin junkie

I've jumped out of a plane for charity once and done bungee jumping - it's great - can't explain the feeling - excitement, fear, orgasmic, all rolled into one

I was slightly put off when the woman next to me said I hope I don't wet myself :lmao1: I thougth well you're jumping before me luckily :o

Well...you can have it all cathy.....for me...and icey..and vikki also I expect. Nooo...that would never appeal. And bungee jumping is for those who don't mind having their backs wrenched.
    :yogurt: :yogurt: :yogurt:

The only thing I would like to try that would entail me separating myself from terra firma would be going up in a hot air balloon. That has been a dream...but I would need a VERY solid man to cling to.

    Any volunteers>>????

As long as Pasta is a VERY solid woman to cling to! I'm afraid I wouldn't be much comfort!
