Do you have flowers in your house?

Postby Ice.Maiden » July 29th, 2010, 7:04 pm

I love to see flowers round the place. The other week it was all lillies in an array of lovely colours, but the pollen makes me sneeze. Now it's gladioli - one of my faves.

In the summer I do, & they're usually from my own garden.

I've got some fake gerberas of all vibrant colours in a vase.

Fav flowers - sweet peas, daphne, gerberas, gypsophila, daisys & cornflowers.
I'm on this earth to accomplish a number of things - right now I'm so far behind, I'll never die.

I didn't fall, I attacked the floor.

We have always had house plants as far back as I can remember. I don't have a garden now, so any fresh cut flowers we have usually come from the supermarket. We probably average a bouquet every month or so.

Lol - well I like to see some round a house. They make a place look pretty, cheerful and they often smell nice.

Yes, but like Yogi, we don't get many flowers from our garden. We mainly have trees and shrubs in that, and then buy the flowers from shops or nurseries.

Certainly is - it was one of the stipulations I made when I got married. I told the OH that he had to carry on as he'd started, and he's never let me down yet.

No, not really. I don't have to remind him these days. It's just something that he buys for me.

I can honestly say that roses and lillies which my OH brings in last for ages. The art of keeping roses going, is to snip the ends off the stalks and plunge them into boiling water for a few seconds. Don't put too many flowers into each vase, and all the buds'll open.
