Come to Bakersfield, my sweet little bird. It is 54 F right now, and it's just a bit after midnight.

Or ... come to Huntington Beach. It's a lovely 60 F there right now.

We could trade places ...

Nah. I may be stupid, but I'm not crazy!

this morning, clear enough to hurt yer eyes, the dregs of snow still here and there, looking decidedly used and in need of a wash, but still blinding.

Well it's starting to turn chilly up here again this afternoon, but I think we've seen the last of our snow now. Some of the trees and hedges are in blossom, and everywhere's looking very spring-like.

Not too bad here. Right now it's upper 50s and supposed to hit the lower 80s this weekend. I just went on a motorcycle ride an hour or so ago, and wished I hadn't worn all the coats I did. :shifty:

Much of th blossom's falling now. My little plum tree was snided in it, but it was sahort-lived, so I guess the fruit won't be up to much, same as last year.

It's about 19-20 degrees at the moment; hot in the sun, but there's a breeze.
