I like reading as well, but I have to snatch bits of news from the papers and the internet, and don't get much chance to settle down to a good book.

No I couldn't T. If I'm disturbed while I'm typing, or as I'm doing stuff elsewhere, I can always carry on chatting or leave whatever. If I'm reading a book, I like peace on my own for 2-3 hours, with no interruptions, otherwise the gist of the story gets lost or isn't so good if I have to go back to it.

I CAN, but don't like doing so if it's going to be in dribs and drabs.

it was only about 136 pages long! but it is inteesting discovering new authors..next up is

Our Man In Havana (1958) is a novel set in Cuba by the British author Graham Greene. He makes fun of intelligence services, especially the British MI6, and their willingness to believe reports from their local informants. The book predates the Cuban Missile Crisis, but certain aspects of the plot, notably the role of missile installations, appear to anticipate the events of 1962

I think I'd rather not know about it. It doesn't sound too good.

Yes, but as you keep saying, some things should never be forgotten.

I prefer horror stories. They're just pieces of fiction which make for a nice change.
