He certainly does, and only joking about the missed "s"!

His wife's been really good for straightening him out though. He's become a good businessman, and although John was never stupid, he acted the clown (an aggressive one at that) in his younger days.

Probably because he seemed "in your face" all the time. I've watched several old vids of him, and if he wasn't sneering and snarling, he was being obnoxious.

I saw him with PIL in 2010 at Leeds, and although it was a good night, he was just as disgusting then as he seemed to be in the past, but I think a lot of it's put on for show.

Spitting, wiping and blowing his nose on a towel, swearing like a trooper and turning his back on the audience.

I guess he thinks it's what the old fans expect from him, but he sounded rather silly and made himself look an idiot. Having said that, the gig was OK really, in that it was just OK to go and listen to the live band. I'd only heard 2 of the songs before though.

Well almost everyone was standing up and leaping about on the spot! LOL. It was just something different at the time, but I've seen it, done it, so I wouldn't go again.

To a certain crowd, yes. There were loads of old punks there, as well as the "new" generation. Keep the faith, and all that! : )

I don't find him like that. His reputation goes before him, so there's still a degree of interest in what he has to say these days, but charismatic? No.

Hard to define, T. He came on, and that was what everyone was waiting for, but he took the mike and gave a load of abuse to the crowd, and one of his old stares. Course, that pleased a lot of people, but then he turned his back on the audience for what seemed like ages. Not so much stage presence, no.
