Could've been, but it's not fair on fans who pay quite a bit of money to see him, and then get a back view of him - or see him blowing his nose and spitting.

WAS. He now just plays up to how he used to be. I think there's another side to him though, which isn't generally seen. He's not stupid, despite acting it.

Oh hark at the poor soul! To say they were "poor", they still had enough money to spend their holidays back in Ireland and send John to college, but he was pretty ill as a youngster, and I don't wish that on anyone.

Is that a pun?

Well, T, how old is he - 50-odd? Back then, some people DID have outside toilets. It didn't make them poor, it was just how houses were built, although his family lived in a 2-bed flat at first, so if the loo was outside, and they were on the top floor .... not good! :o

And still some remain, although many people've turned them into sheds where they keep their garden implements, etc. I know an old boy whose old outside toilet now houses his home-made wine! : )

Not far away. He's made the little place look fab when you walk in. He re-tiled the walls and put a new door and window in. His bottles of wine're all nicely racked up. It looks better than our dusty cellar!

Home-made stuff's far superior than much of the bought ones. Triple-filtered and bottled properly, it's purer and mostly tastes better.

I'm not a huge wine drinker. I don't have much alcohol at all really. I had a white wine spritzer on Boxing Day, and felt all giggly!!! Wimperoo.
