187 Men to Avoid

Postby Ice.Maiden » 26 Mar 2014, 19:24

I must get this book by Dan Brown. It sounds different from his usual offerings, and could be quite funny. Just read a bit about it....

"Men who live with their mothers... men who pretend they know what they’re doing when they smell the cork... men who have past lives... men who write self-help books for women... Men who 'do' lunch...men with fake Rolex watches... ..."

LOOOL! :P

One of my Brothers got a book 'Are you turning into your Dad?'
And the result was a resounding YES!

LOL!!! Well I'm sure I'm beginning to sound like an echo of my mother, but it's no bad thing really. : )

LOL - true, but I don't mind at all. Having the children was the best thing I've ever done. Nothing else compares.

LOL - let's hope we're lucky with them, but so far, so good. The younger one's going through a grumpy stage, but I tend to ignore his moods, and won't speak to him until he's civil - or makes sense! : )

The eldest's extremely good, so he has more licence to do as he wants now. I trust him, and he appreciates it.

Funny how most of us go through these stages, isn't it? I've had the mono-syllable'd answers, but no grunting as I recall. The dogs do enough of that. : )

Oh LOOOOOL!!!

Er ... yes, it's considered rude, but not so much in front of your nearest and dearest - who kind of get used to it!

Awww, Alfie! That's a bit harsh. It's better to let it come out of the northern end than from down south - so long as people excuse themselves afterwards.

Just ask her nicely then! No? Oh well, I guess it has to come out one way or the other. Does she say: "Excuse/pardon me"?
